We left. And occasionally poke back in to see the current extremist gossip of the hour. It isn’t an election year, so only the dregs of politics use this section right now.

I think they got tired of the rants, ignorance, and insults. As you say there is no meaningful debate. A lot of boo hoo, poor me , and it’s the other sides fault

Is this a fair assessment of the politics section?
I had an account on here about a year ago. Back then there were at least a few people, both liberal and conservative, who just wanted to have civil debate and analysis. Not the majority by any means, but enough to keep it somewhat fun.

Now it seems like 95% of the questions are just baiting, mocking questions, there’s no civility or even meaningful debate anymore, essentially, its just people listening to themselves bltch.

So my question is, did these people leave or did they just get dragged down into the mud with the rest of you?
